Treating COVID-19

People who are fully vaccinated + boosted can still get COVID-19, or what is known as a “breakthrough” infection. While most of the time your symptoms will be mild to moderate, you still may need some treatment. People who are not fully vaccinated may experience more severe symptoms that require treatment outside or inside the hospital.

Fortunately, our healthcare providers have experience treating COVID-19 but treatment options may vary. Remember if you experience symptoms of COVID-19 it’s important to get tested right away. If you’re positive, talk to your healthcare provider about the right treatment options, especially if you’re in a high risk category.

The risk of becoming severely ill from COVID-19 is extremely rare if you’re fully vaccinated and have received a booster shot.
