Hi, this is Molly Howell, Immunization Director with the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services. This is your annual reminder that now is an excellent time to get your flu vaccine. The best way to protect yourself and your loved ones against influenza is to get a flu vaccine every year. Flu is a contagious respiratory disease that can lead to serious illness, hospitalization, or even death. Everyone, six months and older is recommended to get an annual flu vaccine, ideally by the end of October. Please contact your healthcare provider, local public health department, or local pharmacy today to schedule your flu vaccine.
